Snow

Well Halloween came and went without much fuss, I've had to return the sewing machine to its owner after more than a year of desperately clutching onto it. I have vowed to save my hard earned cash to buy myself a new machine. (New as in never owned before, new, new to me). I'm opting for something in the £300-£500 mark. I'm wanting a machine that can do its own damn button holes and has a walking foot. I think if I'm going to start mucking about with corsets that will help lots. After the big buy I'm going to save again and hire myself a dressmaker/seamstress to be taught how to make quality garments. I have an over-riding worry that my garments are poor quality because I'm just winging it. I want the things I make to be neat and tidy and finished!....properly! Also to finally make my own coat from some wonderful purple wool I bought 4 years ago!!
Hope these aren't just daydreams brought on by the cold and the friken snow....I hate winter!
